Integrations
Integrations connect Yard to outside services with a key. There are two places to add them:
- Account → Integrations: your own keys. Only you use them.
- Settings → Integrations in an organization: keys for everyone in it. Org admins connect and remove them; members see what is connected.
When both exist, your own key is used first.
Mistral
Mistral's Voxtral turns speech into text. With a Mistral key, the microphone button in the chat composer and in Create spec records what you say and, when you press it again, writes the text into the field. It works in any browser that can record audio. Without a key, dictation falls back to the browser's own speech recognition where there is one.
The recording goes from your browser to the Yard API and on to Mistral; it is not stored.
Keys
- A key is checked with the service before it is saved. One the service refuses is not stored.
- Keys are sealed on the server. Yard shows only their last four characters, and never gives them to agents, runners or browsers: the API calls the service itself.
- Replace key saves a new one; Disconnect forgets it.
- API keys cannot connect or change integrations; sign in to the app.
What comes next
More services (other speech-to-text engines, image generation), sign-ins with services such as Linear, Jira, Slack, Google Drive and Figma, and tools for agents (MCP servers, plugins and skills) are planned on the same pages.
